Nomad seeks to both capture such a distinguished culture through film and educational outreach programs as well as provide additional programs and services to assist the young and old alike to continue the preservation of such a unique and beautiful culture.

Looking ahead to 2010, Nomad is currently in the research and pre-production phase of the documentary film project entitled 'THE ISLAND IN BETWEEN'. Filming will take place on the island of St. Lawrence, some 38 miles from Russia, and conducted over an eighteen-month period. We're also excited to be shooting on the RED ONE CAMERA!

Nomad is also in the first phase of designing and building a recreational center for the community of Savoonga, located on St. Lawrence Island. With one of the highest suicide rate in the nation, , kids are in desperate need of a facility that will sustain them both mentally and physically during the long winter months that such an isolated island can bring.
