WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR THE 2013 SCHOOL YEAR!

In January of 2006 Nomad developed our Student Sponsorship Program, which is designed to fund orphaned children so that they may attend secondary school in Kibwezi, Kenya.

The Sponsorship Program, developed by Nomad staff, community leaders and school Head Masters, determines eligible students by understanding their family situation, school performance and if there is potential for each student to attend university and earn an advanced degree.

NOMAD OFFERS TWO TYPES OF PROGRAMS:

1.) DAY SCHOLARS - $350 per year / per student
This program provides a student with tuition, books & supplies, a school uniform, shoes and lunch. These students live primarily with a grandmother or extended family and do not require boarding.

2.) BOARDING - $650 per year / per student
This program provides each student with tuition, books & supplies, a school uniform, shoes, three meals per day, medical care and sleeping quarters. These students are predominately orphans with no extended family to care for them.

Each sponsor will receive a packet, which includes a hand written letter and photo from their "adopted" student, expenditure report and contact info so that you may correspond with your student.
